The role

Nelsons has one of the leading Private Client teams in the East Midlands and is seeking to recruit an experienced Paralegal to work alongside our team of Lawyers at our Derby office. The work will have a focus on Private Client work with an emphasis on Wills and Probate.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills in a diverse and challenging role. As well as taking instructions from and providing assistance to the fee earners in the preparation of clients’ cases, you will also build your own caseload. The role will include preparing documents and forms, and meeting with new and existing clients.

To excel in this role, great client care skills are a must and candidates will need to have excellent file management and organisational skills, have the ability to communicate effectively and be naturally inquisitive with an understanding of legal principals and current legislation.
